Expert Session #1 | Alexandra Grahe & Franka Ismer

An expert session is a short but insightful webinar format where we invite two experts every other week to spend 20 minutes discussing a topic related to Purposeful Organization and answer questions from our community on the topic.

To kick off the Purposeful Organization webinar series, experts Alexandra Grahe and Franka Ismer discussed the role of mindsets in organizations and how organizations can catalyze shifts in mindsets of all employees by meeting them in the middle.

Speakers:

  • Alexandra Grahe, Deputy Human Resource Manager at H&M, where she applies her background in psychology to engage and transform H&M teams.
  • Franka Ismer is an Empowerment Catalyst at The DO School, where she focuses on unlocking individual potential through mindful-based practice.

With disruption becoming the everyday, organizational purpose alone cannot activate the holistic change needed for dynamic action within teams. Mindsets can serve as tools for encountering the flux of the future. As Alexandra puts it, “If you don’t know yourself, you can’t lead others.” Maybe the right mindsets are already there, maybe they need to be taught, but how do you expand the overlap between individual and organizational mindsets?
